"A Ruyi handle carries a thousand years of auspiciousness, and several peonies bloom on the porcelain - when ancient blessings meet extreme craftsmanship, a piece of good fortune will last forever."
"Auspiciousness and harmony" is a piece of elegant artifact that perfectly blends the Chinese auspicious totem with the pinnacle of ceramic craftsmanship. It is made of white porcelain as warm as jade, and is shaped into a classic and smooth Ruyi shape, symbolizing everything going well and long-lasting blessings; and the most breathtaking part is that on the Ruyi, several peonies fired using the revolutionary thin porcelain technology, with petals as thin as paper, translucent and shadowy, almost trembling with the wind, eternally freeze the luxury of "national beauty and natural fragrance" in the lightest, most fragile and most tenacious posture.
The foundation of Ruyi, auspiciousness forever: The handle of Ruyi has smooth lines and ups and downs, and the whole body is covered with a bright and elegant glaze, which is either pure as snow or elegant as green, implying a stable foundation and the fulfillment of wishes. The bottom may be decorated with finely carved auspicious clouds, bats, longevity characters and other patterns, which conceal the meaning of longevity and good fortune.
The soul of peony, thin wings on porcelain: This is no ordinary porcelain flower! Using breakthrough formulas and kiln control secrets, craftsmen push the ductility of porcelain clay to the limit, making the petals breathtakingly thin (comparable to paper). Each petal requires dozens of processes to be hand-molded, refined, and stacked, and then tempered by ultra-high temperature kiln fire to achieve its stunning beauty of being as thin as a cicada's wing, transparent and visible, and with clear veins. The petals are stacked and stretched, or budding, or in full bloom, and the stamens are dotted with gold or glaze, blooming with unparalleled three-dimensionality and vitality in the extreme thinness.
New art carries the way, auspicious rhyme twins: Ultra-thin porcelain peony is not only a show of craftsmanship, but also the ultimate materialization of the thousand-year blessing of "flowers blooming in wealth and prosperity, prosperity and happiness". Touch the petals and you can feel the shocking contrast between the ceramic's cool toughness and its visual fragility and tenderness - this is the craftsman's lofty tribute to and eternal transcendence of the beauty of nature.
